What is Happy Tin Coaching?

Happy Tin Coaching uses the power of positive experiences to help you break free from feeling stuck. At the beginning of our sessions, I’ll offer you a chance to recall a memory that grounds you in a positive feeling in preparation for our coaching conversation. Why do I do this? When something isn't going the way we want it to, the mind will pay more and more attention to it. In a bid to 'fix it' the mind develops more layers of complexity to the issue, leaving us not knowing which way to turn. You may find that when the mind has a short break from 'your worry', you feel calm and can think about your challenge with a new perspective. 

 

You can free yourself from the negative thought loop that runs in your mind. Through powerful questioning and a Happy Tin moment (if you choose to take it), we can interrupt overwhelm and connect you with your dreams. With me as your coach, you'll have time to think new thoughts, see things differently and come up with ideas that work for you

 

The name of Happy Tin Coaching, comes from a happy tin I keep that is filled with momentos, reminding me of times that bring me joy and comfort. Whether your happy tin is a place in your mind, online or physical, brand new or old, I’ll offer you the chance to collect happy tin moments. See if it works for you! As you go about your day, take a mental photo of one moment that is meaningful to you. Perhaps you've seen something in nature that brings a sense of tranquillity or wonder. Or maybe you've achieved something that's given you confidence. Can you take that feeling with you as you go about your day? If you have a moment when you feel overwhelmed, stressed or lost can you return to that feeling? How does that change things?
